A local member reached out to ask me this. I'm not quite sure how to answer. I'm thinking it wouldn't be deemed as essential but not sure.

As a case manager for supportive living we assign RAI tracking to HCAs and LPNs in facility for our annual RAI assessments. Im not sure if there was a decision made about whether the annual assessments are essential or not. Next week I am supposed to complete an annual RAI, it technically is not a life or limb task and I want to make sure I’m supporting the LPNs. If not, the annual assessments really cannot be completed, as this tracking cannot be assigned to anyone else unless the manager does it themselves?
