Rapid response

Does UNA plan to monitor increases in the use of rapid responses or other outreach processes during the AUPE strike? Because of it was me, and I was a nurse working on a ward whose staff has decreased as a result of the ESA I would be activating rapid responses as soon as a patient met the minimum threshold and especially for admissions simply for the extra hands. On the other hand if I worked in the ICU or wherever is responsible for rapid support I would be augmenting or considering augmenting my staffing if there was a significant increase in the number or outreach calls and rapid response activations. This is also a legitimate way through legitimate processes to make up for staffing issues during a strike.

No, UNA is not planning to monitor the use of rapid responses but AUPE may be planning to do so.
