Can UNE's be used to replaced LPN's? What happens if they pick up regularly?

Hi,

No, UNE's cannot replace LPN's, strike or no strike. LPNs are regulated health professionals and UNE's are not regulated. UNE's need to have a RN supervising their practice and the RN supervising has to be comfortable the UNE is sufficiently trained and able to perform a nursing task before it can be assigned to the UNE.
